Located in the historic 1798 Arsenal with its unique Gothic architecture, the Beaufort Museum features a stunning collection of artifacts that represent the manmade history of the region. Displayed in the museum are items from Native Americans, early Spanish settlements, the Civil War, and 20th century fishing and mining industries. The museum is located in downtown coastal Beaufort, just north of the bridge.
